How To Increase Conversions With Personal Closing On Promotional Emails
When you send out a promotional email to your list subscribers, how do you close your email? The most common close is short and consists of something like “Regards”, “Enjoy”, “Bye”, Speak Soon” etc, followed by the list owners name.
While there is nothing wrong with that kind of close, it can be easily changed to a simple closing statement that is more personal, that will vastly increase the list subscribers confidence level. The more confidence the list subscriber has in you, the higher the chances are that the list subscriber will click on any links on your email.
As you know, every single action you can take on any promotional email to increase the opportunity of increasing the click through rate on your links is important. This is a very quick and simple strategy you can use for all your promotional emails.
When I first started testing with personal closing statements, I seen increases in conversion rates of between 11% and 25%. Here is a typical example of a closing statement that I have used to increase my conversions……….

By simply making yourself available to your list subscribers and letting them know that you actually care about them, you will vastly increase their confidence level in you. They know that if they click on one of your links and they have any questions, you are ready to answer them. This also shows to them that you are confident about whatever you happen to be promoting to them. After all, if you did not know the product or service you are promoting to them inside out, then there is no way, you would make yourself available to answer any questions they may have.
