Here is the money folks….Affiliate marketing. You can be hosting links, banners, and product information on a website or blog and then be getting paid a flat fee or percentage of a sale whenever visitors click through on these links and make a purchase.
Affiliate marketing is selling products or services offered by others and then getting paid for each sale. Pretty simple hey? Not everyone succeeds in making significant amounts of money with affiliate marketing. However, those who are knowledgeable and more importantly, motivated will make money and lots of it.
Affiliate marketing is the key to allowing the online entrepreneur (like you) to grow an online business into significant a money maker with essentially no customers in the traditional sense of the word, in a marketplace that is never closed.
Let’s talk about this marketplace by the way. As of June 2010, it is estimated that 1,966,514,816 (that’s almost two billion people) are online. Do you not think that somewhere, somehow you can get in on a piece of that action? People say, “You can’t make money online anymore there are too many businesses.” You can’t be more wrong, 1.9 billion people is a lot of people and there is a huge amount of money to be made online. Some people estimate that we are only taking advantage of 3% or 4% of what we could be making online.
Keep in mind that China’s and many other Asian countries economies are booming. Most of these markets online are untapped. More than 900 millions of those 1.9 billion users are in Asia. Granted not all of these people have tons of money but a lot of them do and they have a lot more money than their leaders are letting on. The internet and everything around it is still in its infancy and so is Affiliate Marketing. I guy named Jeff Bozo’s (Amazon.com) made a nice little living when he basically created affiliate marketing.
Still not sure there is room for you online? The U.S. Census Bureau estimates e-commerce shipments, sales and revenues for 2007 to be $3.333 trillion. Keep in mind that is just shipment sales and not total sales….what about all the electronic sales. I think that online sales are currently higher than 10 trillion and they could even be 20 trillion when you take the black market into play.
Lots and Lots of money to be made folks…In the 80’s with the arrival of computers many people became millionaires….In the 90’s with the arrival of the internet we saw people become billionaires and lots of them…Within the next few years we will see that 100 billion to 250 billion dollars man or woman for sure…..Don’t be surprised if they tell us all that it all started with affiliate marketing…
